  • Jerry Lawler’s Mom Dies On Sunday, Lawler To Miss Raw

    WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler’s mother Hazel died this past Sunday at the age of 90, according to Mike Aldren of the Wrestling Globe Newsletter.

    According to the report, Lawler is not expected to appear on tonight’s edition of WWE Raw.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry and his family.

  • Former OVW/FCW/WWE Talent “Badseed” Shawn Osborne Reportedly Commits Suicide

    Former WWE Diva Stacy “The Kat” Carter has posted what appears to be a suicide from former WWE developmental talent Shawn McGrath, who reportedly committed suicide on Wednesday. McGrath, who was 34, wrestled under the name “Badseed” Shawn Osborne and was under a developmental contract with WWE from June 2006-February 2008 when he was released.

    Stacy Carter posted the following note from McGrath on her Facebook page: “The lack of relationship I have had with my parents and siblings since my childhood along with the end of my WWE dream have also contributed.

    The only drug I have in my system is Zoloft and it’s a prescription,” he wrote. “I have never, ever been a ‘drug guy.’ … All of this happening right now is me, sober. No drugs, no alcohol.”

    Longtime pro wrestling fan and independant promoter Gordon Scozzari passed away earlier today.

    Scozzari promoted a group called AWF, which ran shows in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and England.

    Scozzari was 40 years old.

    Carpentier was 84.

  • Former WWE Star Lance Cade’s Cause of Death Revealed

    The New Haven Register is reporting that former WWE star Lance Cade, real name Lance McNaught, died from accidentally ingestion multiple drugs. The report also notes that McNaught also suffered from Cardiomyopathy, which is a condition that resulted in McNaught having a weakened heart. McNaught passed away on August 13th.
