  • JR Q&A: HBK’s HOF Inductor, Attitude Era, Taker’s Streak

Posted on January 21st, 2011 admin 14 comments

The following are highlights from a recent Q&A update at the official website of WWE Hall Of Fame announcer Jim Ross:

    John H Asks:

As far as inducting HBK in the HOF, seeing as he isnt with TNA anymore and retired, what about Kevin Nash doing the honors? Or both HHH and Kevin Nash? All three were (and are still) legit great friends. I think that would be great!

    J.R.’s Answer:

It still comes down to simply what HBK wants as there aren’t any bad suggestions from any of us but it’s still Shawn’s call. I merely suggested HHH because I thought it fit. It doesn’t mean that HBK will select HHH. There is only one right answer and that is the one that Shawn Michaels gives.

    AaronJ.Rfan Asks:

Hey JR sorry i forgot to ask do you ever think the attitude era will come back?

    J.R.’s Answer:

Not as it once was….blood issues are too critical these days. I can see the product getting more attitudinal but not as far as the original.

    AaronJ.Rfan Asks:

Hey JR firstly i would to say that you are a legend at ringside and one of my heroes by making any boring match sound amazing. Firstly, what are your thoughts on Michael Cole as a heel and jerry lawler as a face and who do you think can break the undertakers streak? Thanks JR for all the years at ringside and I hope life is great for you right now. Aaron

    J.R.’s Answer:

I’m not wild about an antagonist PXP guy but I’m willing to let it play out and see where it takes us. I’ve mentioned many times on this site that I do not think that Undertaker’s streak will ever be broken. Time will tell I guess.
